Carrot Cake Book Sleeves

These carrot cake-inspired book sleeves are perfect to add an extra layer of protection (and cuteness!) to your favorite book. 

These book sleeves are sewn using cotton fabric, and close in the front with a bow. There are two different book sleeves available

Carrot Cake with Nuts: the outer fabric is an orange gingham fabric, and has a bright green inner fabric and ties. There is white icing on the front attached using an iron-on adhesive, and then sewn to the outer fabric. The brown nuts were cut out by hand, and then attached using an iron-on adhesive.

Carrot Cake with Raisins: the outer fabric is an orange gingham fabric, and has white inner fabric and ties. There is white icing on the front attached using an iron-on adhesive, and then sewn to the outer fabric. The black raisins were cut out by hand, and then attached using an iron-on adhesive.

Both book sleeves have cotton batting in between the layers, to add a little stability and thickness to them.

Both book sleeves are 8” wide, and 10” long. The thickness of your book will determine how well it will fit, but the book I used for photos is 8.5” long, 6” wide, and 1” tall. The length of the book is a perfect fit, but there’s still some space width-wise for a larger book.
