Cucumber Sandwich Book Sleeve

This cucumber sandwich book sleeve is perfect to add an extra layer of protection (and cuteness!) to your favorite book on your next tea party!  

This book sleeve has an outer shell of thrifted cotton fabrics, and the inner brown fabric is polyester. 

The outer fabric is a brown and white striped fabric, and has a dark brown inner fabric and ties. There is white "sandwich filling”  on the front attached using an iron-on adhesive, and then sewn to the outer fabric. The green cucumber slices were cut out by hand, and then attached using an iron-on adhesive + sewing. 

This book sleeve has thin interfacing in between the layers to help add support and structure to the book sleeve
